Mound City School Board Meets

(KLZA)-- The Mound City Board of Education this week scheduled a special meeting for Friday morning to award the bid for the school lighting project. The project was re-bid and will be awarded during the special meeting. 

The Board approved hiring Linda Nauman as a paraprofessional and Lee McFadden as an assistant varsity track coach. 

High School Principal Korey Miles reported 94% of the 72 students in High School are on the honor roll. 

The At-Risk and Gifted Report and Vocational Education programs evaluations were reviewed and reports given on the Homeless/Migrant Education Evaluation and the Drug Free Schools program.

The time of the December Board meeting was moved to 1 p-m, following the faculty Christmas Dinner.
