(KLZA)-- Both the Falls City Volunteer Fire Department and the Falls City Rural Fire Department responded to a call at Consolidated Grain and Barge on the south edge of Falls City Friday afternoon shortly before 5:30.
Falls City Volunteer Fire Chief Ken Simpson reported a grain dryer was on fire but had been extinguished by the time firefighters arrived on the scene.
Volunteers used a heat gun to check for additional hot spots and fire but found none.
