Delaware River Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy (WRAPS) will hold a special meeting on May 2, 2012 at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Glacial Hills RC&D office which is located at 334 2nd Street in Wetmore, Kansas. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
One of the main items on the agenda for the meeting is the election of officers and appointment of members to the Delaware River Watershed Stakeholder Leadership Team (SLT). The SLT is an 11-member body which directs and oversees all Delaware River WRAPS programs. To be eligible to be an SLT member, an individual must be a watershed stakeholder, which is defined as an individual who lives in, owns land in or works in the watershed.
Also on the meeting agenda are a discussion of cost share programs available through Delaware River WRAPS, updates on current projects that are underway, and a discussion of upcoming watershed events.
