Lincoln Pius X dominated the Auburn Invitational Track Meet Friday. The Thunderbolt boy scored 263 points for first place. Auburn was second with 118 points, Raymond Central was third with 64, Falls City was fourth with 48.
The Lady Bolts scored 227 points for the title. Auburn was second with 143, Raymond Central third with 96 and Falls City fourth with 34.
Auburn’s Tierra Williams dominated the girls events winning four gold medals . Williams won the triple jump; long jump, 100 meters and 200 meters.
For the Auburn girls Jackie Frary won the high jump and was second in the triple jump; Amy Mann won the pole vault with teammates Natasha Bradley second and Amber Mann third; Catherine Davison was second in the 1600 and 3200;
Hailey Baxter placed second for Falls City in the shot; Sydney Armbruster was second and Tabitha Nickel was third in the 300 meter hurdles;
In the boys events, Falls City senior Josh Stoller won the pole vault with Justin Doerr placing second.
Top performances for the Auburn boys came in the 400 meters where Devin Anderson won the title. Anderson was third in the 800. Thomas Hinrichs won the 300 meter hurdles.
Quintin Boden was second in the shot; Donovan Halfhill was second in the discus; Alex Gonsolves was third in the long jump, 200 meters and 100 meters; Drew Allgood was third in the 110 meter hurdles;
