The Mound City girls won the Class I, District 8, track meet Saturday at Worth County scoring 120 points. Worth County was second with 102; Rock Port was 4th with 50, Nodaway-Holt was 6th with 38, Craig-Fairfax was 9th with 22 and Tarkio was 12th.
Worth Count won the boys title with 134 points, Stanberry was second with 100, Mound City placed third with 95, Rock Port was fourth with 60, Tarkio was seventh and Nodaway-Holt was 8th.
In the District 7 track meet the South Holt girls finished 8th with 36 points and the Knight boys placed 6th with 45.
The top 4 finishers in each event in the districts have advanced to the sectionals this weekend at St. Joe Christian in St. Joseph. The top four finishers in each event at sectionals advance to the State Track meet.
