Softball Goes to the Dogs...Sorta

Hiawatha's Bruning Park won't be going to the dogs, but will be used for the dogs,  during the 2012 Brown County Humane Society Co-ed Softball Tournament planned for June 2nd. 

Society member Seth Tollefson says the funds raised will be used to assist the numerous efforts the organization conducts for the animalS(Play Audio :25 seconds) 

An ongoing goal for the Brown County Humane Society, and a focus for the funds generated through the tournament, is providing necessary transportation for the dogs(Play Audio :20 seconds) 

Tollefson says support is being sought from all surrounding areas, and that includes not just team sign ups, but any type of help, financial or otherwise(Play Audio :31 seconds) 

Tollefson is encouraging those looking for a day of fun in the name of a good cause to form a team for the tournament(Play Audio :09 seconds) 

Start time for the coed softball tournament will be 9:00 on the morning of June 2nd.
