Weston Woman Injured in KS Car Accident

A 48-year-old Weston, Missouri woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident Thursday morning in Franklin County, Kansas.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident occurred shortly before noon on southbound I-35 near the Williamsburg exit.

They say the driver, Cheryl Ann Linder-Murra, fell asleep at the wheel, and her 2006 Volkswagen Jetta crossed the median, where it rolled and came to rest on its wheels.

She was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center with injuries.

The patrol says Linder-Murra was wearing a seatbelt.
