Nearly twenty county residents met with the Nemaha County Commission Monday to express their concerns about a proposed wind farm in the northeast portion of the county.
Juwi Wind LLC plans to build 86 wind turbines in the area north of Sabetha and extending westward towards Bern. Each will be nearly 400 feet tall.
The company currently has 40 wind turbines located nearby south of Humboldt, Nebraska.

County Attorney Brad Lippert will research the legal options the county has.
Commissioners asked for any information the group could provide from residents living near the Flat Water Wind Farm in Richardson County in southeast Nebraska.
The group will meet again with commissioners in a few weeks.
