The Nemaha County Commission Monday received two budget requests for 2013.
Representatives of Nemaha County Community Health Services submitted their 2013 funding request.
Director Jane Sunderland says they are requesting $50,000 for 2013, which is an increase of 28-hundred dollars over what they received from the county for this year.
District Court Clerk Patty Heideman submitted her 2013 budget to commissioners.
She is requesting $60,180 for 2013, which is an increase of $500 over what she received for this year.
Commissioners will consider the two budget requests when they work on the 2013 budget.
In other business, Nemaha County Training Center Director Alice Lackey informed commissioners that the roof at the training center in Seneca is leaking.
She provided commissioners with a quote from Suther Building Supply for $14,738 and L Construction for $10,483 to reshingle the roof of the building. Both companies estimated it would cost about $200 to repair the roof where needed instead of reshingling it.
The commission made no decision. They asked Lackey to also get a bid to have the roof tinned as well.
