Nail Keg Derby Set in Robinson
The 2012 Nail Keg Derby is set for Wednesday ( July 4th ) at Robinson.
Ag Partners will be sponsoring this year's event, which begins at 10 a.m. with registration, inspection, weigh-in and practice runs.
First time drivers must complete three practice runs to race. The first time drivers practice run schedule is: single run no ramp; single run with ramp and side by side with ramp. Repeat drivers can take practice runs if desired.
Registration closes at 11:30 a.m., followed by a driver's meeting at 11:35 a.m. The races begin at noon.
There is an entry fee of $15 to be paid on race day and the age limit is eight years and older.
Total weight of the car and driver cannot exceed 206 pounds.
Trophies will be given to the top four places, with all participants receiving a participation medal.
