Green Cover Seed will be having two field days this year at the farm near Bladen, NE. One in mid August (the 15th or 16th) and one in Mid-November (14th or 15th). We are still making plans and waiting to hear from some speakers but wanted to make you aware of the dates I case you are interested. More details will be forthcoming.
Northwest Missouri State Cover Crop Workshop – July 10th 8:45-4:30 FREE but Pre-Registration is encouraged: www.nwmissouri.edu/ag
This workshop and field day will feature Ray Archuleta from NRCS. If you have never heard Ray speak, you need to go. He is one of the best speakers I have ever heard speak about soil health. Also the cover crop plots that will be featured were designed and planted by Colten Catterton, our summer intern, who is getting his Masters in Cover Crops from NWMSU.
Rhizoterra (Jill Clapperton) Cover Crop Field School – July 17th and 18th – Emporia, KS
Speakers: Jill Clapperton, Dave Brandt, Gail Fuller, Dr. Jonathan Lundgren, Doug Peterson, Brian Berns and more
