The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office is investigating a reported arson that occurred at the City park in Belvue.
Sheriff Greg Riat says deputies responded to the report of a loud explosion in the area of the City park shortly before 7 o’clock the evening of June 29th.
When the Deputies arrived, they found the mens rest-room had been damaged by an apparent explosion. The damage is estimated to be $400.00
Riat says a witnesses described a vehicle of interest leaving the area as a white or cream colored newer passenger car with two male juveniles.
Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime are urged to contact the Sheriff's Office at 785-457-3354.
A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.
