Prices for student meals at Pawnee City Schools will be increased for the upcoming school year.  The board of education voted to increase breakfast and lunch prices during Monday’s meeting.
Individual breakfast will cost $1.50 for the elementary and secondary students, an increase of 25-cents from last year.  Lunch prices will increase 10-cents to $2.25 at the Elementary School and $2.45 at the High School.  The cost for milk at lunch was also increased a dime to 40-cents.
Adult breakfast and lunch prices were left unchanged, at $1.75 for breakfast and $3.25 for lunch.
In other action, the Pawnee City School Board renewed the agreement with Lewiston for the Technology Specialist Consortium.  The board renewed the district’s membership in the Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association for the next school year, and approved entering Pawnee City Schools in Network Nebraska beginning this year.
The Pawnee City School Board approved a motion to have Humboldt Implement serve at the district bus inspection provider; and unanimously adopted several revised district policies.
