( KLZA ) Southeast Nebraska Community Action is conducting a drive for school supplies for the upcoming school year.
Melissa Hardenberger with the SENCA office in Falls City explains who will benefit from the supplies collected. ( play audio :14 seconds )

Kleenex, , backpacks, pencil boxes, rulers, scissors, watercolors, glue and glue sticks are also items that will be accepted.
Families that need help with supplies need to sign up at the SENCA office by early August. ( play audio :15 seconds )
If you would like to donate to the school supply drive there are a number of ways to do so. ( play audio :17 seconds )
School supplies will also be collected as the admission to a Back to School Community Pool Party in Falls City on Tuesday evening. ( play audio :14 seconds )
The pool party will be at the Falls City Aquatic Park from 8 p-m until 10 p-m and everyone is invited. In addition to school supplies you can also gain admission by donating a non-perishable food item or a small cash donation for the SENCA Outreach Office.
