Concerns Voiced About Nemaha Co Ks Road
08/02/2012

( KMZA )--Concerns about the condition of a Nemaha County ( Ks ) road are voiced.
Three county residents met with Nemaha County Commissioners Monday to discuss the condition of the Goff-Oneida Road.
The group relayed to commissioners the safety hazards that exist currently along the road because of pot holes on the south end of the road and dust on the north end of the road.
Road and Bridge Supervisor Dennis Ronnebaum advised the group that the south end of the road will be tore up and redone as a rock road yet this summer.
In other business, the commission approved a cooperative agreement with Richardson County, Nebraska for the replacement of bridge on the state line road, north of Bern.
Richardson County Commissioners approved the agreement last week.
The new 60 by 24 foot bridge will cost $56,700, with the cost to be split by the two counties.
Nemaha County will do the construction work on the project.
