Primary Election Tuesday

Voters in Kansas will go to the polls Tuesday to decide which Republican and Democratic candidates for county, state and national offices should advance to the November general election.
Jackson County voters will also decide whether a new countywide 4-tenths of a percent retailer’s sales tax should be imposed for road and bridge improvements.
If approved, the tax would take effect on October 1st and last seven years.
The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Remember you must present a photo ID when voting.
