In July and the Port of Waverly in Waverly, Missouri, John Jamison and Justin Cook caught an 80 pound catfish, which is the largest of the 2012 season.

This is the third year Atchison is hosting a leg of the series.

The event wasn’t held in Atchison in 2011 due to the flooding of the Missouri River.

Kilpatrick is expecting 40 to 50 boats to participate and grand prize money will range from 25 hundred to three thousand dollars.
