Tecumseh Man Killed in Pawnee County Crash
09/24/2012

(KTNC) - A man from Tecumseh lost his life in a one-vehicle accident on a rural Pawnee County highway early Sunday morning.  The accident occurred on Highway 4 just east of Lewiston shortly after midnight Sunday.
According to Pawnee County Sheriff Jayme Reed, 25-year-old Brandon Nelson was alone in his 2002 Pontiac Grand Am and westbound on Highway 4 when he lost control of the vehicle which rolled several times.  Nelson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the vehicle.
The accident wasn’t discovered until approximately 8:30 Sunday morning, when a Pawnee County Deputy found the wreckage.
The investigation into the accident will continue, but authorities believe speed and alcohol were contributing factors.
