( KMZA )-- The Nemaha County micro-loan program is being called a success.
Nemaha County was awarded a $100,000 grant through the Kansas Department of Commerce in 2001 to begin the revolving loan program, which provides low-interest loans of up to $25,000 to new and existing small businesses.
Nancy Gafford is executive director of the Rural Development Association of Northeast Kansas, which administers the program in Nemaha County...( play audio)
