(KNZA)--Although few details are known regarding the specifics, the Holton/Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is warning about a suspicious phone call promising local advertising.
According to an email from Executive Director Jamie Claycamp, the caller claims to be selling ads for a Jackson County Business Guide, but nothing is yet known about the publication.
Claycamp asks those who receive the call to provide no personal information, but to instead give the caller the Chamber's number, (785) 364-3963 , so that the claims can be investigated.
Claycamp reminds those who receive the solicitation that unfamiliar products should be avoid, and publications, such as the so-called business guide, usually never materialize.
