(KNZA)--An innovative way to track the whereabouts of sex offenders has come to Jackson County.
Sheriff Tim Morse says his department has now implemented the collaborative national sex offender computer program known as OffenderWatch(Play Audio)
Citizens may also confidentially register to be notified if a specific offender, who they wish to track, moves from his present address, and may register as many addresses as they like, at no cost.
Citizens may access the Jackson Sheriff’s Office OffenderWatch Community Web Page 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week at the Jackson Sheriff’s Office’s web and go to the bottom of the page and click on the red box entitled “protect your family.”
