( KNZA )-Details have been released on a single-vehicle accident Thanksgiving Day in Nemaha County that sent a Sabetha teenager to the hospital.
The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department says 17-year-old Courtney Makie was traveling eastbound on 164th Road just west of 4th Street in Oneida when she swerved to miss a deer. Her car left the roadway and overturned.
Makie was transported to the Sabetha Hospital by ambulance.
The accident was reported shortly after 9:30 Thursday night.
