( KNZA )-- Sabetha city employees will receive a pay raise.
The Sabetha City Commission Monday approved a 2 percent across-the-board raise for city employees.
Following a closed-door session, the commission also approved some merit raises in addition to the two percent. The new wages will take effect December 23rd.
In addition, the Sabetha Herald reports the commission approved a $50 bonus for all full time employees and a $25 bonus for all part time or seasonal employees.
