Authorities have released the name of a 37-year-old man who was fatally injured when his car slammed into a bull in southeast Nebraska.
Otoe County Sheriff's Deputy Greg Kotschwar identified the man as Chad Callahan, who lived outside Palmyra.
The accident occurred about 5:40 a.m. Thursday, while Callahan was driving to work in Lincoln. Kotschwar says the 2,000-pound Angus bull was standing on Nebraska Spur 66A south of Palmyra when it was struck.
Kotschwar says the bull flew over the hood of Callahan's car and crushed the car top. The bull was killed.
