( KNZA )-Three Goff residents were injured in a single-vehicle accident late Friday morning on U.S. 73 Highway just north of Lancaster in Atchison County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says 43-year-old Ute Cashman was traveling north when her vehicle drifted left of center.  The Patrol says Cashman overcorrected, swerved back to the right, overcorrected again and the vehicle rolled.

Cashman was transported to the Atchison Community Hospital for treatment of possible injuries.

Two passengers, 19-year-old Mike Flewelling and 18-year-old Shyann Marie Canon, were flown from the scene to the K-U Medical Center in Kansas City with disabling injuries.

The Patrol says Cashman was wearing a seatbelt, but the two other occupants were not.

The accident was reported shortly before 11 o’clock Friday morning.
