( KNZA )-Funeral services have been set for an Atchison teenager killed in a single-vehicle accident Sunday evening in Leavenworth County.
Services for 15-year-old Desirae Crossland will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Memorial Hall in Atchison. Crossland was a freshman at Atchison High School. She was killed when a car driven by her 18-year-old sister, Felicity, left U.S 73 Highway northwest of Leavenworth, went through a fence and rolled into a pond.
Felicity and another passenger in the car, 18-year-old Kelsey Essig, both of Atchison, suffered serious injuries in the accident.
