( KMZA )- Brian Thomason is the new general manager and chief executive officer at Blue Valley Tele-Communications in Home City.
Thomason was hired by the cooperative’s board of directors effective Jan. 1.
Thomason, who moved to Marshall County from Indiana, has more than 32 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He succeeds Dennis Doyle, who left the post last year.
The company is inviting the public to meet the new general manager.
Thomason will be at Deb’s Place in Centralia today ( Tuesday ) from 11 to 1. Next week he will be in Axtell, Summerfield, Lillis and Beattie.
ACE’s in Axtell — Jan. 29
Classic Cafe in Summerfield — Jan. 30
Lillis Tavern, Lillis — Jan. 31
Robidoux Cafe, Beattie — Feb. 1
He will be at each location from 11 to 1.
In addition, Blue Valley Tele-Communications will have an open house with refreshments from 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 23 at its headquarters
