( KNZA )--There will be a race for a position on the Holton City Commission.
Brett Summers and Dan Brenner filed before Tuesday’s deadline for position 4 on the commission. They join Twila White in seeking the position currently held by Rich Mulroy who didn’t seek re-election.
Erich Campbell is running unopposed in his bid to retain position 2 on the commission. Campbell was appointed last month to fill the unexpired term of Janet Zwoniter who now serves on the Jackson County Commission.
In other filings in Jackson County, Monica Briner filed Tuesday for position 4 on the Holton Board of Education and will face incumbent Allen Arnold during the April 2nd general election.
And Doug Amon filed for re-election to position 6 on the Jackson Heights school board.
