Family Fire Victims Focus of Local Fundraiser
01/24/2013

(KNZA)--A special fundraiser, being held for an area family that lost their home to fire, is planned for Friday.

The Indian Taco fundraiser is intended to generate funds for the John and Kasey Roles family, whose Whiting home caught fire on the night of January 16th, leaving the family to escape through a 2nd story window.

The oldest of the family's four children suffered a broken leg during the jump, while others suffered smoke inhalation.

The fundraiser is arranged by team members and their family, from the fast pitch 14 and under softball team Kasey Roles coaches.

It will be held in the Horton Blue Building from 11:00 Friday morning until the Indian Tacos are gone.

Supporters can either dine in or carry out, with flat bread to be sold for 2-dollars, while Indian tacos will sell for 5-dollars.

Money raised will be used to support the family with their personal needs.
