(KTNC) - The deadline is fast approaching for those who want to enter works in the annual youth art show in Falls City. The 62nd G-F-W-C Art Show is open to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
Entries need to be brought to the Stalder Gallery at the Falls City Library and Arts Center between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13th. The works will be on display in the gallery from February 18th through February 28th, with an open house from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20th.
Each grade will be judged separately for kindergarten through 9th grade entries, while 10th through 12th grade entries will be divided into five different categories.
The GFWC Falls City General Woman’s Club and Richardson County Arts and Humanities Council sponsor the art show. First place winners from the local show will be entered in the state contest in April.
For a complete list of contest rules and categories, contact Rita Seid (sid) at 402-245-7237, or e-mail rseid@sentco.net.
