(KAIR) -- The Effingham City Council Wednesday evening will re-visit the possibility of a wage increase for city employees.

They will meet at seven at city hall to resume the discussion that was tabled last month, pending the outcome and direction of the first ever countywide summit.

The council will also continue discussion of the potential merger of the city fire department with another district, as well as hear a request from Martha Coder for free usage of the Blue Building February 23rd for an event to benefit early cancer testing, held in the memory of Sue Martin.
