(KNZA)--It's a noticeable new sight in the City of Hiawatha, as a new digital sign is in place
On First Street, in front of the Hiawatha High School Industrial Arts building.
USD 415 Superintendent Penny Hargrove says the idea for the sign began with high school junior Chris Jones, who made it happen with the help of his Boy Scout Troop 313(Play Audio)
Hargrove says the sign's digital display will be used to highlight a variety of local events(Play Audio)
Hargrove says this spring, Jones will conduct landscaping around the sign as part of his Eagle Scout Project.
