( KMZA )--Details have been released on a single-vehicle accident in Marshall County that claimed the life of a Seneca man.
Marshall County Sheriff Dan Hargrave says the accident was discovered about 5:30 Monday morning on a county road about 1 ½ miles west of Axtell.
Hargrave says 60-year-old Randy Holthaus, who was lone occupant in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marshall County Coroner.
Hargrave says Holthaus was traveling east on Indian Road when his Dodge Caravan left the roadway, entered the south ditch, and landed on its side.
An autopsy will be held to determine the cause of death.
The accident remains under investigation.
A memorial service for Holthaus will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca.
Holthaus is survived by his wife, Donna, and three children.
