( KNZA )-A Hiawatha man has pleaded no contest to a charge of abuse of a child.
32-year-old Corey Spangler entered the plea Monday in Brown County District Court to the felony charge.
Sentencing is set for March 25th.
Spangler was arrested in November following an investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department after reports were received from medical and school personnel involving a 5-year-old Hiawatha boy.
He remains free on bond.
