( KMZA )--A longtime Nemaha County ( Ks ) Department head is retiring.
Senior Services Director Fern Odum submitted a letter of resignation to Nemaha County Commissioners this week.
Commissioners accepted her resignation, which is effective September 30th.
Odum has held the position for 23 years.
Commissioners decided to place an advertisement in the Seneca and Sabetha newspapers asking for applications for the position.
