(KLZA) The Falls City Council will conduct a public hearing Monday night on an application for a Community Development Block Grant Program grant in the amount of $30,000. This is the next step in the Downtown Revitalization Project.
A request to advertise for bids for street repairs for 18th Street between Harlan and Lane and 16th Street between Chase and Crook will be reviewed.
Representatives of Benefit Management will meet with the Council to review health insurance costs for fiscal year 2012-13.
The Council will also conduct a public hearing on a liquor license application for Katrina Miller at 623 Harlan Street doing business at Just One More Bar & Grill.
A request from the Employee Advisory Committee to fund an Employee Appreciation Dinner will also be discussed.
At the conclusion of new business the Council is expected to meet in executive session with City Attorney Mike Dunn to discuss litigation.
