(KMZA)--A 26-year-old Sabetha man is facing a felony charge following what authorities say was a violent domestic incident.
Jeremy Hale was arrested Sunday by Sabetha Police, and booked into the Nemaha County Jail for aggravated domestic battery.
Police Chief Robert Wahwasuck says a lesser charge was insufficient, based on the extent of injuries allegedly incurred by Hale's female victim.
She did require treatment at an area hospital, where she was treated and released.
Hale's relationship to the victim is not immediately made public.
Hale remains in custody, held on bond of $75,000 in connection with the Nemaha County case.
However, he's additionally held on bond of $25,000 for an unspecified Brown County case.
