(KTNC) - A Salem Man was sentenced to probation for his role in a break last summer at a Falls City home. Nineteen-year-old Chance Dunback was sentenced to four years of Intensive Supervised Probation, with work ethic camp, during a hearing Tuesday in Richardson County District Court.
Dunback had pled guilty to charges of burglary and attempted robbery. Two other felony charges against him were dismissed.
Dunback and another man, Daniel Worton of Falls City, were charged in connection with breaking into the home of Robert Blain at 202 East 8th Street last July 31.
Authorities say they broke into the home and pointed a gun at Blain’s head in an attempt to steal medication. They did not get any medication, but did steal a handgun belonging to Blain’s son.
Worton was sentenced earlier this year to five years intensive supervised probation for his part in the crime.
