Noah Slay family
( KNZA )-A Tecumseh,Ks man has been hired as the new principal at Royal Valley Elementary School in Hoyt.
The USD 337 Board of Education this week voted to offer a contract to Noah Slay for the 2013-2014 school year.
Slay will replace Susan Pfrang who will serve as the district’s director of curriculum and instruction.
For the past five years, Slay has worked for the Shawnee Heights School District—including four years as a third grade teacher at Berryton Elementary School and currently as the instructional coach at Shawnee Heights Elementary School.
Slay graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and received a master of science degree from the University of Kansas in educational leadership.
