( KNZA )--A certified appraiser consultant from Eudora will serve as interim Doniphan County Appraiser.
The county commission Monday entered into an agreement with Marion Johnson to perform required appraisal services for the county until a new full-time county appraiser is appointed.
Johnson will work on a contractual basis 3 to 4 days per month at a rate of $500 a day, including all expenses.
Dean Butrick retired as county appraiser effective July 1st after serving the county for 35 years.
