(KTNC) - Southeastern Nebraska students and schools were among those to win awards at the Future Business Leaders of America National Leadership Conference, last month in Anaheim, California.
Nebraska FBLA members competed in more than 60 events at the conference, which included more than 8,500 FBLA members from 50 states, U.S. territories and international chapters.
Brent Comstock of Auburn High School concluded his term as a national officer. He has been the vice president of the nine-state Mountain Plains Region.
Samantha Teten of Johnson-Brock High School placed 10th in the FBLA Principles and Procedures competion, and Curtis Karel of Johnson-Brock finished in the top 15 in the Help Desk category.
Julie Slama of Auburn High School received the National Business Achievement Award – American level.
Johnson-Brock High School received the Gold Seal Chapter Award of Merit and an Outstanding Chapter Award.
