07/15/2013

(KTNC) - There were no injuries and relatively minor damage when a truck backed into a Falls City convenience store last week.
According to the Falls City Police report, Gregory Johnson of Hanover, Minnesota, was backing the delivery truck toward the Kwik Shop building at the intersection of 14th and Harlan Street, when the top right corner of the trailer impacted the sign attached to the front of the building.
There was no visible damage to the trailer, which is owned by Penske Truck Leasing, but about three thousand dollars damage was done to the sign.
The accident occurred just after four o’clock last Thursday morning.  The police report notes that the parking area is lighted.
