(KTNC) - The Nebraska Department of Roads has scheduled work on several area highways next week. Officials say chip-seal projects are set to begin on sections of three highways.
Areas where work is planned include:
-Highway 8 east of Pawnee City
-Highway 65 west of Table Rock
-And Highway 50 beginning at the state line south of DuBois.
The work on Highway 8 is anticipated to take three days to complete, while the other two projects are expected to be complete in two days. All work will be done weather permitting.
Roads will be narrowed to one lane around the work zones, and pilot cars and flaggers will be present. Motorists should expect delays in those areas while work is being done.
