( KNZA )--A 20-year-old St. Joseph man was seriously injured late Monday night in a roll-over accident on U.S. 169 in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Jake Chellew was traveling north when his 2006 Chevy Silverado went off the left side of the road and overturned. Chellew was ejected from the vehicle.
He was transported by Lifenet helicopter to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.
The Patrol says he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
The accident was reported around 10:40 Monday night about two miles north of Gower.
