( KNZA )--A Hoyt man was injured in a single-vehicle accident on U.S. 75 Highway that was discovered Sunday north of Topeka. The Kansas Highway Patrol says 42-year-old Jeffrey Starkebaum was traveling north when for unknown reason his pickup truck crossed the median and went down an embankment. The pickup struck a tree and then hit another embankment.
Starkebaum was transported to Topeka’s St. Francis Hospital.
The time of the accident, which occurred at the intersection with Northwest 70th Road, is unknown at this time.
