(KNZA)--A Fredonia man was arrested early Saturday morning in Jackson County, and the truck he was driving seized because it had earlier been reported stolen.
That word from Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse who says deputies responded to 32985 U.S. Highway 75, near Netawaka, shortly before 7:00 when a resident reported that a man was driving in their yard and around their residence. Deputies arrived on the scene and apprehended the driver, identified as 29-year-old Christopher Neil Johnsen. Morse says he was allegedly under the influence of narcotics.
Johnsen was found to be driving a red 1995 Dodge 3500 farm truck that had been reported Friday as stolen in Woodson County.
He was arrested for felony possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and trespassing.
Johnsen, at the time of his Jackson County arrest, was being sought by Fredonia authorities, who considered him a missing person following a domestic dispute that had occurred in that location.
