(KTNC) - The Falls City Lions Club will celebrate its 79th anniversary during the club’s regular weekly meeting on Wednesday, October 9. The meeting begins at noon at Konstantino’s Pizza.
The Falls City Lions Club was chartered on October 8, 1934. It is the oldest club in District 38-N and is the 12th oldest club in the state of Nebraska.
All current and former club members are invited to the club birthday party. The anniversary party will mark the kick-off of the club’s fall fundraiser for the scholarships given annually to two high school seniors.
