(KTNC) - Eighty-four people participated in Sunday’s “Life Chain” in Falls City. The “Life Chain” is an annual anti-abortion protest held on the first Sunday in October.
Participants stood silently along eight blocks of Harlan Street between 2:30 and 3:30 Sunday afternoon, holding signs with messages reading “Abortion Kills Children,” “Adoption: The Loving Option,” and “Abortion Hurts Women.”
The Falls City Life Chain was part of approximately 1,800 similar events that were expected around the country Sunday.
The Life Chain is part of the “40 Days for Life” campaign, which seeks to get people to pray for an end to abortion.
