(MSC News)--NEK-CAP, Inc. will begin accepting applications for its Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program on December 2nd. The program provides rental assistance for up to 12 months but may be extended, depending on funding availability. The program also provides security deposits and utility deposits.
Households must meet the income guidelines of at or below 60% of median income, and all housing units must be able to pass a Housing Quality Standards (HQS) Inspection. This program is being offered in the counties of Atchison, Brown, Doniphan, Jackson, Jefferson, Marshall, and Nemaha.
