(KNZA)--The possibility of bringing a YMCA to Brown County will be the focus Monday evening when the Brown County Community Needs Task Force holds a town hall meeting.
The group came together through the efforts of local resident Adam Rogers who met with officials of the Saint Joseph YMCA. Following their reccomendation, upon learning the possibility of bringing the organization to the local area is possible, Rogers met with various leaders throughou the county. Those meeting then led to the formation of the 12 member task force.
They went to work identifying needs in Brown County, and how a YMCA could be part of the solution; and, with those needs identified, the public is being asked for their input on the issue.
That can be provided during Monday evening's town hall meeting planned for 7:00 at the Fisher Center in Hiawatha.
All Brown County residents are invited to attend and to provide their ideas, or to listen to those presented.
